sabrina on a roman holiday
On the third day of our Macau-HK trip, I decided to wear this striped pink Sabrina hand-me-down (from my mom). I felt really pretty that day since I felt like I was channeling the Hepburn vibe.
We were preparing to leave Ocean Park when we chanced upon a replica of La Bocca Della Verita (The Mouth of Truth) in Rome. But instead of biting off your hand when you tell a lie in front of your own Joe Bradley, the replica palm-reads and prints out your fortune in Cantonese.

When I saw the replica, I just couldn’t leave the place without taking a picture with it! It would’ve been more Roman Holiday if I dressed in a polo and a skirt matched with a scarf around my neck, but for something totally unexpected, I was so glad to be in something Audrey Hepburn at the least!
I don’t know if you’re really supposed to stare into its eyes, but I did.
Didn’t have someone to confess anything to so my hand was saved, haha!
You can tell it’s not the real thing ‘cause it’s next to a vendo machine. Pfft.
I’m still looking forward to visiting that original attraction in Rome someday, but I’m glad I was able to experience something close to that. Not bad for something totally unexpected! But next time, I’m definitely bringing a Princess Ann outfit just in case. ;)
